Is it me or does oil feel like a rigged game? To this passerby, it sure seems like all the fat little pigs that took a once top tier US co. down have just switched to a new shop and are doing the same thing to oil as they did to California. Just another classic example of history repeating itself. There seems to be a blind eye and limited regulation of the sector while a few of the good ole boys siphon off their fill and then some. There is a solution we have perhaps overlooked. Due to the structural imbalances of the citizens of Dork City compared with the rest of the world, if we pool together all of our used Oxy Pads, we could probably fill a tanker or two of 100% light sweet Dork City home made oil.
I think you may be on to something here. Mabye we could put together a Liposuction fund raiser and use the excess fat to make high end soap, just like in "Fight Club."
